LearnLink/ FirstClass - EVNET
The LITTLE RED SCHOOL HOUSE
(LEARNLINK)intranet service is reserved for in-house (intranet)
work, courtesy of the Faculty of Science, McMaster University and EvNet. It
requires a special client software (FIRST CLASS by Centrinity / MC 2
Softarc Inc.), and is organized into three utilities:
- e-mail boxes (every
registered member will obtain one)
- conferencing areas for
document sharing/exchanges, and
- virtual chat rooms for
synchronous communications.
LearnLink is built on the
principle of collaborative learning/work symbolized by the Little Red
Schoolhouse. In order to obtain access, you mustdownload the
client software by anonymous ftp. Please choose the most
appropriate option below.
- PC users:
- Win31 (three
files)
- Win95: (2
files)
- MAC users: (two
files)
Once you have installed the
client software, we can register you in LearnLink so that you can gain access
to the EvNet work area. TO REGISTER IN LEARNLINK, SEND AN e-mail MESSAGE TO
Laila
Bastedo or Delsworth Harnish, REQUESTING AN ID AND PASSWORD.
