Besides the two face-to-face computer labs, this will be the only in-classroom meeting of the course. Its purpose is to introduce the student to the content and requirements of the course and the special arrangements for electronic communications via e-mail, the course newsgroup, the World Wide Web, student computing labs, and First Class Client on the LearnLink server.
